I have been in the Industry from the age of 16. Studied my classical grades on the Piano from the age of 6. I achieved Grade 5 and an

O Level in Music, and from the age of 16 i started performing live in Clubs, Pubs and then Dinner Dances with my Dads Band Velvet Touch which i have kept going, and we are still out gigging whenever and wherever the music takes us (alongside my side kicks Graeme Culham, Melody Munday and Vicky Kaylor. I have been an Agent since 1995 and have seen many changes and also some brilliant Artistes who have joined Star Acts. I am very proud of our achievements and how it has firmly established itself alongside other reputable Agents, Clients and most important our team of artistes who fly the flag for us every time they step foot on a stage. All of this would not be possible without the help of some very important people who help me make Star Acts what it is today. I am very grateful to them as they really are the very important cogs in making this big wheel turn.

Laura  - Administration  -  And anything i don't want to do !!!!

Without Laura, none of the Clients , Acts would see a contract, poster or be checked to ensure all is well for that important booking.

One thing i will admit too, is when it comes to Admin, I have always tried to swerve it, so I asked Laura if she would take on this task. I know from reports that she has proved very popular with Clients and  Acts as being Miss Efficient. She really is all of that and more and without Laura, Star Acts would not be where it is now. She has proved to be an integral part of our team, and i rely on her a lot to get so many things covered which she does without any problems.

Alan - Talent Scout

This guy without doubt knows what is good and bad when it comes to artistes from Vocals, Presentation, Equipment, Choreography etc etc. He is always beside me at showcases and will pick up on things i may overlook.

He has vast experience himself, having fronted a Band, Fronted one of the most established Karaoke Roadshows on the circuit and he is always on the look out for that new fresh talented act that he will find and introduce to me. Additionally he has introduced me to Agents i have never met as he will talk to anyone! ! and is always looking around for opportunities to enhance the Star Acts Name.

He is highly respected by so many people in the Industry, and its known that if we are at a showcase or Musical event, Alan will not be very far away from my side as another set of eyes and ears and of course someone to bounce ideas from.

Alan always conducts himself professionally and its quite common for him to pop into our venues if we have an act performing just to check everything is okay. His retirement from performing has been Star Acts gain, and he helps us purely for the love of the business.
